This week at 10thPlanet Van Nuys we are working on our knee on belly control. The video below shows a basic knee on belly transition that works well when your opponent tries to move around. I personally really like this drill and transition because it drives home the idea that you have to keep pressure on your opponent the whole time. Once you feel like you have mastered this drill with your hands on the mat you can transition your hands to your opponents chest. By doing this you place all of your weight down on your opponents upper body the whole time and really get good control.
