Side Control to the Mount

In the video below Rener Gracie breaks down the mount technique that we have been drilling in Coach Alder Hampel’s class this week at 10th Planet Van Nuys. In the video Rener stresses the importance of stretching out your opponent’s legs prior to hip switching. This part of the mount is crucial in avoiding being put back into half guard. If you want to come down and try this move out Coach Alder will be teaching this transition Monday 2/13 through Thursday 2/16. Come on down and get your reps in!
